Two weeks ago, a team of YouTubers I subscribe to put up a video asking for help designing a website. Unfortunately they were missing the key ingredient most people are looking for, cold, hard, cash. I had been in a similar predicament when I wanted to put my stuff out there, and had taken the trouble to teach myself the essentials of coding to make a simple website. This was my opportunity to bless some strangers, and what better way to start off the year?

Once Luke, one of the two members of UncleKornicob, saw my website he was keen for me to help them out. He wanted a similar simplistic feel to my site, adjusted to UncleKornicob’s style. He sent me some images to work with, including a really cool looking background and off I went.
I don’t think I’ve ever coded a website so quickly. Although I was using code from my website as a base, most of it had to be changed to make the UncleKornicob website work. The reasons why I enjoy making websites, and the reasons why I hate it came flooding in. It’s long work and, although it’s really cool to see the original idea come alive, there are always little problems that take hours to locate and fix which is extremely frustrating.
Yesterday I handed the keys over to the UncleKornicob team, now sporting a Srizzil website of their own. They’re talented young filmmakers and I look forward to seeing what they come up with in the future. Good luck boys.
