This is it, the big show, the main event, the party to end all parties, our beta phase. This is going to be one of the largest upgrades I’ve ever made to any of my sites. For the first time ever, the design is 100% original, and I’ll be coding it all. *Ahhhh* As much as a hate working with this strange language, seeing your design come to life is one of the most rewarding things in the world. Unfortunately professional designers are way too expensive, and the chances of them doing exactly what I want are slim. So here we go.

This process will run over the next few months, as we go along I’ll add more pages and make sure they work 100% before moving onto the next. I’ve already started work on the Home Page and the Blog page. These are already running but I’m ironing out problems and adding extras – the thing that takes the longest. Once I’m done, my good friend Richard – artichoke.standoutt.com – will be  designing some awesome backgrounds for each section.

Once those two main pages are done I will be tackling the movies page. Expect galleries, trailers, reviews, news, top 10s, and ratings. This will probably be the most difficult section to do but it’ll be worth it in the end.

Srizzil will finally get it’s honorary space after movies have been added, followed by a downloads page which will be the home of our wallpapers and competitions.

The scariest thing will be moving all our old content across to the new site. Something which will start as soon as the blog section is done. When all is done the site will move back to the full www.standoutt.com home page and we’ll have more time for some awesome new content.

It’s going to be an exciting few months. To top it off, during the process more content will be added continuously. Look out for a full Spud – Learning to fly review in the next week, and more Srizzil videos. Also stay tuned for our first give-away honoring the launch of our beta project.
