Synopsis

Walt Disney Animation Studios presents the musical THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, an animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans. From the creators of "The Little Mermaid" and "Aladdin" comes a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (ANIKA NONI ROSE), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. I loooooove disney.

I waited for the release of this movie for more than a year, following its progress, title changes, you name it.

The story was a pretty and sweet telling set in old New orleans. the simplicity of the story was what made it and I personally think the hype for it was just not enough for what it deserved.

Disney had original scrapped the idea of doing any more 2D films but luckily changed their minds after quite a few years.

The introduction of the first black Disney Princess was also very promising and Im sure helped them reach a greater target audience.

Disney's next venture is Rapunzel. It wont be altogether 2D but is still sure to be amazing.

Princess Tiana had an amazing charm about her that would leave many of us remembering our childhoods when we wished we were disney princesses
