The Wave House has been around for many years in good old Durban. A massive man made machine that produces solid waves to ride. Despite its age I had never ridden the beast and decided that this week it was time. My friends Mandy and Jin joined me, although they refused to ride with all sorts of rather lame excuses. Thankfully that meant they could man the camera and catch these awesome shots of my epic failures and mild successes riding the D-Rex. Enjoy.

Sunday, April 17th, 2011CityHill Church Launch
Wednesday, March 9th, 2011It finally arrived. HCF is now CityHill church. The 6th of March was an amazing day, thousands gathered from all the church’s sites in one venue. There was excitement in the air as the church began to worship God together and celebrate his amazing love.
I was involved in the Promise Land, our children’s church’s, rap. The most daunting part was trying to remember all those words. It’s amazing how, even though you know the words, when you stand on a stage the words can disappear. In the end I remembered most of them, and improvised for some. It was an awesome privilege to be a part of such an iconic moment in the church’s history.
Visit CityHill’s website here to find out more.
Special thanks to Mandy Rothquel, Msizi Hadebe, Cole Marshall and Ayanda for filming different bits for me.
Triple Bieber Cover
Friday, February 25th, 2011I’ve wanted to cover some of Justin Bieber’s songs since he came out with his first album and then again with his second. Unfortunately it just never happened. The few times I did attempt to do anything it was horrible. Then, one night I was messing around with a guitar and singing some songs and decided to let the camera roll. This is the result. The Justin Bieber songs have been spliced together.
If you noticed, I did mix up some words in there, but hey at least it’s not the national anthem.
Merry Christmas
Thursday, December 23rd, 2010The season of family, friends, and insane shopping is reaching its peak for 2010. It’s the time of year where some families make their only trip to church, and churches everywhere sing carols and preach about Jesus’ birth. It’s a time where trolleys are filled with things people can’t afford and cues spiral along the shopping centre floors. It’s a time of year which is aptly referred to as the silly season.
Silly as people may get, it’s a special time of year. One where we can spend time with the people we love, and be thankful for all that we have.
I would like to wish everybody a happy and blessed Christmas, may your heart be warmed, and your love replenished.
